Jesus is the resurrection and life!

 John 11:25-26

Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in Me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in Me and believes in Me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”

We know the expression made in John 3:16 that tells us how God loved the world that gave His Son so that we may have life and not perish. This statement made by Jesus, is a confirmation of that, where indeed, through Him, we will never die (after dying), where we will live in eternity. This however happens when we believe in Him. Furthermore, because He is the resurrection and life, we can claim that for ourselves, in areas that needs resurrection. The same power that rose Jesus from the dead, is the same power that lives in us, that is the Holy Spirit, this is according to 1 John 4:4.

When we know such truths and believe in it, we can allow God to come and transform our lives in ways we didn't know possible. Jesus came to give us life and life in abundance (John 10:10); thus, we need to strive to access the life that Jesus came to give us. This we can do by seeking God and His will (Matthew 6:33) where He promised to add all other things that we need (when we seek Him). It is by knowing the truth and declaring that, which will activate the hand of God to unlock that which He has promised. My wish for you is in Numbers 6:24-26 that says: "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn His face toward you and give you peace." Amen!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
