The gift of salvation is for all...

 Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.

This should not be something we feel ashamed of, that we are believers and we have been saved by the grace of God. This is Good News indeed, that Christ was crucified, He was buried, and He rose again- He is alive and the purpose He was sent for, was fulfilled, in full! Our debt has been paid, we are forgiven and the veil that separated us from God was torn! Furthermore, through Christ, we are healed by the stripes He endured on the cross (Isaiah 53:3-5); plus we can now access the life in abundance that Christ came to give us (John 10:10)!

The key in this, is that what Jesus did, saving our lives, that is not limited to a certain few or nationality, anyone who confess and believe in their heart that Jesus is Lord, will be saved. God loves us all and He wants all of us to be saved and live in eternity! May we not miss this beautiful gift that God gave us, because He loves us; let us receive and embrace ALL that He has in store for us! We are privileged and blessed! Don't be ashamed of who you are in Christ, in fact Jesus said those who deny me infront of people, He will also deny infront of His Father (Matthew 10:33)...Just keep that in mind.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
