The Lord is good...

 1 Chronicles 16:34

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever.

The Lord is good and His love endures forever...We know this because of who He is, from His character, His presence, His power, His acts of love and His faithfulness. We can depend on Him as He comes through for us every time. He never fails us...When pushed to the corner and you feel your back is against the wall, try to remember how He came through for you, in the past. That evidence quickly reminds you that He is faithful and if He's done it before, certainly He will do it again. He just came through for me now...That's who He is.

This is why we thank Him even before the victory is won, because we are confident on His word as He told us that His word will never return to Him void, but it shall accomplish that which it was set to (Isaiah 55:11). Hence, thanking Him in advance, shows Him that we trust Him and His abilities, it is basically faith, that we haven't seen it but we know it is coming. This gives us hope and allows us to wait on the Lord. Indeed, the Lord is good and He will not let you down, hold on, believe and see His hand on you (just like I did today).

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
