The prophecy was fulfilled!

 Mark 16:6

But the angel said, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid His body."

On this day, we celebrate the resurrection of Christ from the dead! After three days, Jesus rose again, just as the prophecy said, it had to be fulfilled. The enemy thought they had gotten rid of Jesus, who indicated that He is the Son of God, and they did not believe Him; but on the third day of crucifixion, His body began to breathe as He came back to life. We serve a King that is alive! Such a powerful time that we can never forget nor take for granted. History was changed by what God did for us.

This shows that what God has spoken over our lives, shall be. Prophecy will be fulfilled. He is not man that He should lie, this is confirmed by Isaiah 55:11 that says: "so is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.". God is faithful, all we need to do, is believe and trust in Him. His timing is not the same as ours and His ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8); therefore, we should stay in faith knowing that what He promised, He will bring to pass...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
