He is faithful, He will forgive your sins and purify you!

 1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

How wonderful is that! The blood of Jesus has allowed us an opportunity to approach God with our wrongs and ask for forgiveness. As humans, we may wrong others, or do something that we feel ashamed of. However, God through Jesus Christ, has taken away our shame and clothed us with His grace, as alluded to in the book of Isaiah 61:7 that says: "Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance." The most important aspect, is for us to see our faults, go to the Lord and ask for forgiveness. Not only will He forgive us, but He will purify us as well, from the unrighteousness! Which is why, through Christ, we are holy (not our doing, but Christ's blood).

God wants us to have a clear conscious at all times, which is why He welcomes us with open arms when we go to Him with our faults and ask for forgiveness. He wants us to let go of the burden and be free. Which is also why He urges us, to forgive those who trespass against us, as per the prayer in Matthew 6, as unforgiveness can be poison to our soul. Hence, we need to forgive others as God forgives us.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
