Be strong and courageous!

 Joshua 1:9

This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

The Lord is faithful, we can trust Him and His commands for us. Just as He told Joshua not to be afraid, but to be courageous, the Lord is saying the same to you. You may have your own assignment, that may seem bigger than you (like Joshua), but the fact that He says He will be with you, it takes away fear and gives comfort. The people in the bible were also afraid when God instructed them (look at Gideon in Judges 6), but as God reassured them that He is with them, that He will help them, they were able to step forward boldly.

What are you afraid of? The bible tells us that if God be for us, who can be against us (Romans 8:31)? This shows that if there's fear of what will people say, then never fear. The Lord is with you and will cover you. That's all you need to worry about. Hebrews 13:5 says: "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hold on to that truth and be obedient to the Lord, He will see you through!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
