Do what is right, love mercy and walk with the Lord!

 Micah 6:8

No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what He requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

In life there are too many voices, ones that lead us in the right direction and ones that lead us astray. too much noise everyday such that we are unable to hear what the Lord says. This is why we need to set aside some time, and spend it in the presence of the Lord, to be deliberate in hearing from Him. This could be time spent reading the bible, praying, worshiping etc. This allows us to hear that voice of the Lord, through these acts. By so doing, we'll be able to remember what God expects of us and this verse reminds us that God wants us to do what is right, to love mercy and walk humbly with Him. Thus, when faced with choices to make, ask yourself what would God want you to do, or better yet, ask Him and wait to hear from Him. He would lead you to doing the right thing as you walk with Him, consulting Him and giving Him the centre stage in your life.

Life was never meant to be engaged on our own, but to walk it with the Lord. When you read the book of Genesis, you would recognize that God enjoyed being in fellowship with humnas. Yes, sin entered the world at the garden of Eden, but God restored our relationship when He sent His beloved Son to die for our sins. This means, we can resume having a close relationship with the Lord, where we walk with Him and involve Him in every area of our lives. It is a blessing that needs to be embraced and to live it out!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
