His great love was displayed whilst we were still sinners...

 Romans 5:8

But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

God is so thoughtful and considerate. Whilst we were still sinners, as people of this world, living in our own terms, God sent His Son to die for us, so that we may be saved. This shows that He has always loved us, regardless of our flaws, faults and shortcomings. He knew that there would come a time when our eyes would be opened to the truth, that He is Lord and that there is no other. 

Let us show gratitude for what He has done for us, in whichever way possible. We can never be able to repay Him for what He has done, but we can acknowledge what He has done and show gratitude towards Him. We are priviledged to have our King die for us, so that we may have life everlasting, in abundance. His pain, is healing to us, it brings joy to us and it certainly has lifted us up, to be siblings with Him in God's kingdom. Through Him, we share the inheritance that our Father has for Him. We'll always be grateful for it.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
