Think big, above and beyond!

 Colossians 3:1

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

The bible tells us that as new creations in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), we are now seated together with Christ in heavenly places. This means, we no longer have access only to the physical, natural realm, but also spiritual realm. Through Christ, we are set above the evil principalities, which we now have power and authority over. Which is why we were cautioned to watch what we say, as it has the power of life and death. Thus, God urges you to set your heart on things above, things that pleases our heavenly Father and follow those principles. Jesus has already showed us the way, we just need to follow on His footsteps. If He walks on water, if you have enough faith, you may as well walk on water! Your faith can also move mountains (Mark 11:23), which is why God wants you to be bold and tell your problems about God. Don't count and retell people about your problems, instead, speak to them and command them to move out of your life. By faith, it shall be.

Philippians 4:8-9 reminds us of the things we should fill our minds with things that are excellent, pure, praiseworthy, noble, honourable and right. Don't dwell on the problems or the challenges that we face in this world, instead, focus on how big your Father is, how capable He is of making a way where there seems to be no way. Focus on how He is able to make the impossible, possible. That will stir up your faith and align your things which will lead to a breakthrough. God said He will not withhold any good gifts from you (Psalm 84:11), believe and trust Him!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
