Wait patiently for the Lord!!

 Psalm 27:14

Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.

You can never go wrong waiting on the Lord, even though it may be hard to wait, but the wait is worth it. The things we want for ourselves, may not last very long or there may be certain conditions, but what God wants for us, is a real deal, we can trust that they would not be to our detriment. Proverbs 10:22 tells us that the blessing of the Lord adds no sorrow to our lives, because it is pure and timely. When God makes us wait, it could be one of the three: 1) the blessing is not ready 2) we are not ready for the blessing 3) The timing is not right for the blessing to come through. It is worth waiting on the Lord for we know He will never withhold anything good from us (Psalm 84:11). Lastly, Isaiah 40:31 says: "but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." We stand to benefit so much by waiting on the Lord...

The second part of this verse urges us to be bold and courageous. As we wait on Him, let us hold on to His word, His promises and love for us. Even when the enemy (through people) comes and try to distract, discredit your faith or disagree with what you know; stay brave and courageous, even if it means standing alone against the crowd. Know that anyone with God, is majority!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
