With our great Shepherd, we have all we need!

 Psalm 23:1-2

The LORD is my Shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; He leads me beside peaceful streams. 

Indeed, with the Lord as our Shepherd, we have all we need! A shepherd ensures that the sheep that they are taking care of, have everything they need, from protection, food, water, well-being etc. This is the case with us, the Lord takes care of our every need, which is why we lack nothing, when you take a closer look. There may be things that are nice to have, but the basics required, the Lord provides. This verse further tells us that the Lord lets us rest in green pastures and He leads us in peaceful streams. This showing us that our peace is of importance to Him (John 14:27 confirms it); and that our path, is clear and calm, no noise, fear, threats, insults and whatever else; He has designed for us to live and operate in tranquility.

So, we must not let the world move us from a position of peace and calm. Let the storm rage on whilst you maintain your inner peace by surrendering all your worries and cares to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." That's all you need to do. Let us be obedient and allow God to work through us in our lives. He has already asked us to bring all the burdens to Him and be freed. Receive His help and peace, in Jesus name!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
