Give Him praise for the Lord is good...

 Psalm 100:5

For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and His faithfulness continues to each generation.

This is such wonderful truth, that we know that our Father is so good! That His love continues forever, from one generation to another. He has shown His faithfulness and love for His children, as evident in the children of Israel. But not only can we make reference to the bible only, we have also seen His goodness in our own lives, if we pay close attention. The fact that we are still alive and are protected, shows that He is keeping His covenant He made with Abraham, of His goodness to flow from him to His children and many generations. Personally, I have seen His goodness in my parent's lives and I can testify about His goodness in my own life and very much on my offspring's. This is evident for example in Him bringing healing that was bothering you for example. 

We need to exalt His name, give Him praise, give Him the honour and glory! He deserves it. We should not wait until all our problems are solved, then we start praising Him, because for that to happen, it might be a long time to go. Remember Paul had a "thorn" in his flesh (2 Corinthians 12:7), that he asked and pleaded with God to take it away, but nope. This is not because God is not faithful or loving if He doesn't take it away, it is because He requires of us to stay dependent on Him, close to Him. If life was smooth in every area, a lot of people would forget about Him, and start thinking they do things for themselves, which would be false. Thus, a little bit of discomfort will always be there and that's ok. What we need to focus on, are the things that God is showing His goodness in and give Him praise like never before!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
