God's plans are to prosper you!

 Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

This is one of the well-known bible verses that God wants to remind us of the truth revealed in it. The truth is that God has good plans for us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us. We must remember that what God has for us, in the physical may seem like punishment or backward, but when it finally comes together, it then becomes clear why the negative thing happened. Going through a tough time like being retrenched (which I have first-hand experience in), you may feel disappointed, angry, let down etc. but the truth remains that everything that happens, has a go-ahead from God and God may allow that to happen, for a reason. That reason obviously being for your good and leading you to a prosperous future. At that moment when it happens, it may feel like a dark cloud, the end of the road for you, but fast forward to the future, a bigger, better door opens up for you! That's when you'll realize why that door had to close, so that God can open the right one for you.

May this truth remain in your heart always, so that when you are faced with a tough situation, you don't curse God and turn away from Him. Remember we are not exempted from bad things, but our Father is able to make those bad things to be in our favour (Romans 8:28). Let that encourage you even in the storm. This is because God loves you, He wants what's best for you, and what's best for you may at times reach you after you've gone through the difficulty to that you may be ready for the blessing. Always remember there's a rainbow after the storm...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
