Give thanks, and let the world know of His goodness...

 Psalm 105:1

Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim His greatness. Let the whole world know what He has done.

Let the whole world know what He has done, a beautiful instruction! This is the least we can do, for all the things that the Lord has done for us, to show our gratitude, to give thanks to Him, to proclaim His name and let others know, so that they may be saved as well and enjoy the lovely relationship we have with our Father. One thing I'm scared of, is to take the glory for myself on things the Lord has done for me. This is quite common for those who don't have the relationship and revelation of the Lord as yet. They think the things they are able to do and achieve, is because of their own strength, ability and power. When actually, at times, it is the grace of God. However, what they do, tends to be short-lived, and then they get surprised on what went wrong. Personally, I could never live without the presence, love and mercy of our Heavenly Father. I'm too weak, too foolish and too timid to do it on my own, hence His presence gives me boldness, strength and the ability to do all.

So, may I kindly urge you to recognize God in your life, give thanks where it is due and to tell others of the goodness of the Lord. I once heard a phrase that you may be the only bible someone has. This means someone may find Christ through you, you may be their only connection to the Lord and His word. This gives a bit of pressure, that we need to watch how we show up in the world, we are His ambassadors here on earth afterall, thus it would be good if we are able to reflect the truth about God. But at the same time, it is an honour that you may be a reason someone's life change for the better, forever! Think about it...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
