God is giving you the desires to do His will!

 Philippians 2:13

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.

This is awesome! God has the ability to place desires in our hearts, that would put us in alignment with His plans for our lives! It is a great relief, especially if your desire is to please Him and to do that which He has called you to do. This means, what you feel strongly about, that you feel passionate about and want to do something about it, it could be God guiding you on the path He is leading you.

With this in mind, it means we must be open to the Holy Spirit to work in us, to guide us according to His plans; thus, not to be fixated on our initial plans for our lives, but to be flexible to change and embrace the new. This, remembering Jeremiah 29:11 that His plans are for our good (not evil); thus, it's ok to have our initial plan changed towards the new desire that we may feel in our hearts! Also, to be careful not to allow the external forces to keep us stubborn on our initial plans, when our heart has shifted; that would be the enemy trying to stop the good thing God is doing in and through us. Call on Him to help you embrace the change and hear His voice as He leads you to your destiny! Enjoy the ride...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
