He's our comforter during trouble...

 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.

Our Heavenly Father deserves all the praise we can give, because of who He is.  He is so loving, merciful, faithful, protective, forgiving and so much more. This verse even reminds us that He comforts us when we are in trouble, He comes and bring comfort in time of need. He has been teaching me not to despise the trials and troubles, as not only are they strengthening me and shaping my character, but to give me a taste of what He would like me to comfort others with. Whatever difficulty you may go through, don't be hard on yourself, it's not you or about you, but it's about those that God would want to touch their lives through you. He's allowing you to experience that, so that you will know how to handle someone who's going through what you did. Because He comforted you, know that you will need to use the same way and comfort others.

Let us embrace the journey, it may have its ups and downs, but the reality is that God is with us through it all and He promised never to leave nor forsake us; also that He won't allow us to be tested beyond what we can handle, this is according to 1 Corinthians 10:13 that says: "He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure." That brings relief, that what we go through, God knows we have the ability to handle, so rest in Him.
