Rejoice whilst you are waiting on God...

 Psalm 59:16

But as for me, I will sing about Your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about Your unfailing love. For You have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress.

We don't have to wait until all is smooth and we don't have problems anymore. Where we are, there's a lot to be grateful for, that we can give God praise for. His never-ending, unfailing love is a good start that should always be in our minds always. Where we have what we prayed for or not yet, the fact that He is God, sitting on His throne, above all other kingdoms, is a reason to have hope and rejoice that He is in control. Him being in control gives us peace, as He's already told us that He loves us, He will never leave nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:8).

We are alive because He is our refuge, our hiding place. He is our protector that we can always run to, when the storm rages on. Psalm 91 tells us that we shall not be afraid when there's problems everywhere. Let us hold on to His word and see Him bring victory in our lives. Let us substitute the negative thoughts, ones that discourage and pull us down, with positive ones. Start reminding ourselves that He said we are more than conquerors because He's already conquered the grave. We are from the kingdom of light; hence, we have protection.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
