The same Spirit of God, lives in you!

 Romans 8:11

The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

This is a powerful truth, that we ought to know and never forget. This is actually a game-changer, that we have the Spirit that is so powerful, that was able to raise Jesus from the dead, imagine! This means, in our lives the areas that we feel needs to be resurrected, can be resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit that is already in us! Which is why this verse says, the Holy Spirit will give us life in our mortal bodies. This reminds me that the bible says in Matthew 7:7 that we should ask, and it will be given to us. Therefore, where we have areas that are not aligned with the life Jesus came to give us (John 10:10), then we need to ask the Lord to resurrect it by the power of the Holy Spirit that dwells in us!

This saddens me that many people, live and pass on without having reached their optimum in life, simply because of the circumstances that they found themselves in, and (most importantly) because they didn't know that power lives in them, greatness lives in them (1 John 4:4). May this not be our reality but let us go boldly to the throne of God and ask for transformation, for life in abundance as He has promised us. If the Holy Spirit was able to raise Jesus from the dead, everything else is nothing, a small ask indeed.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
