Do not be afraid, He's got you!

 Isaiah 41:13

For I hold you by your right hand— I, the LORD your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.

The Lord is with us, to help in every step of the way. Sometimes we may encounter situations that are unexpected that may want to set us off; however, the Lord reminds us that He is holding us with the right hand. In this verse, God is reassuring us that it is ok, whatever that is. He is in control, and nothing catches Him by surprise. For us is to remember that we are not alone, He is with us and for us, and He is ready to provide the support and help we need.

I was reminded also today of 2 Timothy 1:7 that says: "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." This reminding us not to fear, but to remember that God has already given us the spirit of love, power and sound mind. Meaning, no matter what we encounter, mentally, we are able to handle it as we have a sound mind, and we have the spirit of power. So, do not be afraid, whatever may be of concern to you, concerns God as well. Thus, take it to Him and prayer and leave it at His feet. Philippians 4:6 says we must not be anxious for anything, but in prayer, with thanksgiving, take it to our Father.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
