Indeed, there is none like Him!

 1 Samuel 2:2

No one is holy like the LORD! There is no one besides You; there is no Rock like our God.

We praise the Lord for who He is in our lives, our Rock, that we can count on. He is dependable. There is no one beside Him! We know this because He has seen us through the tough times, where we found Him to be the Rock that we can stand on and find strength. We need to realize that God is our Source of everything; He is our firm foundation. We find our being and identify in Him. We find shelter when we are in turbulent times. We find protection and health against the attacks that come our way. We find provision, love prosperity, direction, peace, joy and so much more.

May we start seeing God for who He is in our lives, our loving Father! The One we go to for help and solutions. He gave us His Son to mend our relationship, so that we can do life with Him. It is an honour and priviledge to be able to rely and depend on Him. He is faithful! May we never be discouraged when we don't see Him act on the things we have asked, He is at work for our regard. Also, His timing is not the same as ours, hence we need to be patient. Isaiah 40:31 encourages us when it says: "but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." May this be a reality for you, as you hold on to Him!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
