Endure the discipline, it is worth it...

 Hebrews 12:11

No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.

Absolutely true. On our day-to-day, any type of discipline, earthly or even by our Heavenly Father, is not nice, not pleasant at that time as it could mean hard work, going an extra mile, keeping away from doing certain thing etc. This I'm actually undergoing, where I'm meant to carry activities of another, just to protect the brand. This at a time, is not nice as it means working twice as hard, working longer hours and getting feedback which leads to rework etc. However, after reading this verse, I realized that it is actually what I'm going through now, but when I look at the benefits of having done this, it is beautiful. This will mean growth, expanding skills and to be commended to having stepped up to the plate.

So, don't focus on the feeling that you get when you are grilled. Remember gold and diamonds have to go through fire and pressure in order to sparkle! Same with you, when God wants to elevate you, reward you, He will let you go through a tough process to strengthen you and to bring out the best in you, which could only come by you being grinded. Instead, focus on the end results and also do ask God to give you His strength and wisdom to endure the grinding process (I did, and He came through!). Stay strong and remember, there will be rewards...He is a just Father.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
