You are urged to have the same attitude as Christ...

 Philippians 2:5

You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.

Jesus as our model, we must look up to Him on how we should lead this life we are given. Sometimes society puts pressure on us, as Christians, followers of Christ on certain standards and expectations. That is a worldly thing, and we must never fall for that trap (of pleasing people). Our main goal is to please the Lord, who is our Judge and whom we will answer to, one day. Therefore, look at what Jesus did and do your best to live a life that is in that direction. We can never be Him, but we can try to live a life that mimics those principles, and I believe God will reward effort.

Some of the key principles of Christ, was that He never lived to please people, in fact He would go against those "religious" people and do what is right. An example that comes to mind was when the Pharisees wanted to see if Jesus would heal someone on Sabath and Jesus knew this and He did what was right, which was healing that man (regardless of what the law says). This means we also need to have that much of compassion, that we don't allow society to box us, that will end up limiting us from showing God's love to others. Also, that Jesus was compassionate towards people, healing the sick, raising people from the dead etc. He was considerate (feeding the masses). But I think most importantly, Jesus made time to recharge, and by this He would spend hours with God, in prayer. He would make time to be alone and allow the Lord to fill Him up. We also need to do this; time spent in the presence of our Father, is never wasted, instead, it catapults us like never before. Consider and ask the Lord to guide you...
