Be strong and courageous, God's got you!

 Deuteronomy 31:6

So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”

These were the words spoken by God to Joshua, who was about to take over from Moses, in leading the Israelites to the promise land. With such a huge task it was expected that he will be fearful and doubtful, but God was strengthening Him, indicating that He will be with him as He was with Moses, that He won't leave him nor forsake him. I believe this must have given Joshua some comfort, knowing that he is not alone, but God is helping him every step of the way.

I believe without a shadow of doubt that this is exactly what God is also saying to each one of us, in different aspects of our lives. There could be a decision to be made, changing locations, career change, starting that business, whatever that God has you do, follow His leading and allow His to have His way with you. They say the safest place you can be, is in God's will, which is true. Life on your own, makes you vulnerable and exposed. But in His will, it may be a huge task, but knowing that He's with you, makes all the difference in the world. Allow to be clay in our Potter's hands (Jeremiah 17); He knows what He is doing...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
