Continue praising the Lord no matter the circumstance...

 Psalm 47:1

Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise!

Praise and worship is so important, as it connects us with God, it shows Him that we acknowledge Him, His presence and what He has done and what He is doing in our lives. It sends a message to Him that it doesn't matter what we may be going through, we already know that He is with us and for us (Romans 8:31) and that is enough. It also sends a strong message to the evil principalities that we are the children of the Most High, that's where our hope is and that we will never be shaken. I understand that at times you may not be in the "mood" to praise and worship, but that is when you need to force to do it, as there could be evil forces trying to stop you.

Today for example, I was not feeling as good, but I felt so encouraged and strengthened after spending some time in the presence of the Lord, reading the word, listening to the word and worshipping. I felt the pain disappearing. I knew the weapon that was formed suddenly lost its grip on me as I started soaking myself in the word of the Lord. Therefore, on one hand praising the Lord with joyful noise is to acknowledge the Lord and on the other, it is to soothe our soul and connect in the spirit. Nver take it for granted.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
