Hold on tight to your hope...

 Hebrews 10:23

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promise.

In trying times, where there's uncertainty, all we can do, is hold on tight to the hope we have in Jesus Christ. This is what keeps us going and strengthens our faith. I have recently been urged to never forget what the Lord has done for me in the past, but to keep reminding myself of the things He delivered me from, the victories He gave me and how He parted the "sea" for me, in the past. This serves as a reminder that whatever challenge I may be facing then, it is nothing to our God, who is in charge and in control of everything here on earth. This fuels our faith, as we remind ourselves that we have a Father who is mighty and to whom nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37). This has indeed increased my faith and my hope remains in Him.

May this serve as reminder and a weapon to strengthen your faith, to never lose hope. So long as God is still on His throne, with Jesus on His right hand, we will be alright. Remain in contact with the Lord, keep your hope in Him and He will come through for you.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
