Those who TRUST in the Lord, will renew their strength

 Isaiah 40:31

But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

The most important thing that this verse is showing is, is to trust in the Lord. It has benefits as the Lord promises to renew our strength. Understandably so, that from time to time, we may find our strengths depleted, in this case, we need to rely on God to renew us. Also, I've recently learned that the warfare that we face at times, which are attacks from the enemy, may results to depleted strength. In this case, we need to put on our full armour of God to fight it off, with the word of God, our faith, our righteousness and prayer, as alluded to in Ephesians 6:10-18. When we do this, God will intervene and restore us, restore our strength.

Therefore, from what we learn from this bible verse, those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength, they'll never faint, they'll keep going and will soar like eagles. God will lift them up, high above the storms of life. Like an eagle, that cruises during stormy weathers, we shall do so too. God will allow us to thrive in the midst of turmoil, financial crunch, war, confusion and trying times. Which is why, as I mentioned in the beginning, the most important thing we can do for ourselves, is to put out trust in the Lord, He will take care of the rest. Afterall, Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to lean not in our understanding but to trust in the Lord. Try it...
