Whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of Christ!

 Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

As followers of Christ, we are His representatives, which is why we are urged to remember on what we do, we do it as His representatives, giving thanks to God through Jesus. Jesus became our middleperson, to bridge the gap that was created by sin, but we thank the Lord for mending things for us. In this case, let us thank and praise Him for all He has done for us. We are because of Jesus. I was reminded today that we are righteous, not because of our own doing, but because of Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21). Which is why, we must not keep ourselves in bondage of our sins, Jesus cleared the slate for us, hence, when God looks at us, He sees us as righteous as Jesus is. Through His sacrifice and what He went through at the cross for, has made us righteous. For us, is to keep ourselves in a condition that is acceptable to God. Following His commands and continuing being the representative of Christ here on earth. Where we do wrong, we repent, ask for forgiveness. 

May we find the gift of freedom, embrace it and live life the way God designed it for us. Not condemning ourselves and others, but having a forgiving heart, giving ourselves and others grace where needed. That pleases God. Also, remembering Galatians 6:9 that we must not get tired of doing good. Be the light in the world (Matthew 5:14) and continue being a blessing to others (Genesis 12).

Our King is alive, He sees and hears you...

 1 Peter 3:18 Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but He died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but He was raised to life in the Spirit. The recollection about Jesus, is one of the most powerful  story ever. His life story has impacted humanity so much, we just find ourselves in awe and feeling privileged . Jesus died for us, sinners, in order to bring us safely home, to our Father, how amazing is that! He was born to die for us, in order for us not to perish , but to live an eternal life, in communion with our Father (John 3:16). What is wonderful also, is that in as much they crucified Him and He died, He subsequently rose after three days. This means, our King is alive!  Psalm 32:8 The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Oh praise the Lord, He is faithful! He says He will guide you along the best path for your life, isn't it that amazing? This is what we ask for, for His guidance on the best path for this life. When you consider the number of choices we are faced with in life, it can be overwhelming and scary, because one mistake, you could be taking a wrong turn that will lead to disaster, whether with career choices, business partners, jobs, partners etc. However, with such truths that the Lord is there to guide us on the best path, it is so comforting and heartwarming.  Furthermore, the Lord says He will advise you and watch over you. Awesome! With His advice  on your life, you are set to make the best decisions and your choices will be fruitful. In addition, Him watching over you , ensures that you are protected no matter what, that you are provided for and are taken care of.
