A warning against division in the family...

 Mark 3:25 (NLT)

Similarly, a family splintered by feuding will fall apart.

The NIV version of this verse says: "If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand." Which basically refers to a house or family that is divided due to the fights, it cannot stand. Quarrels are not part of God's plans for His children, He is the God of peace, which is something that He wants us to experience in our homes. He is a God who stands for unity, not division. It is obvious that the one who is happy when people quarrel and split, is the devil. The first part of John 10:10 tells us that the enemy came to steal, kill and destroy. In this case, his aim would be to steal the family's peace and joy, destroy the unity and get rid of what was being formed in this family. Which is why we must refrain from quarrelling, but always seek peace, resolution, compromise and forgiveness. 

Also, this verse is applicable to any setting, for example in the church, if people are divided in their views, approach and how they do things, that is a recipe for disaster which could lead to it falling apart. Same in the workplace, if there are people who are always causing fights within the organization, that will lead to divisions and eventually a split. Therefore, as children of God, let us take our positions, and bring light wherever we are (as alluded to in Matthew 5:14). Let us allow the Lord to infiltrate our spaces and allow His will to prevail. His peace will fill every corner and that would bring glory to our Father.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
