Christ lives in you!

 Galatians 2:20

My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

What an honour and privilege, to live in this time, where we have a Saviour who gave up His life for us. This verse reminds us that now Christ lives in us; we are a new creation, as we have surrendered our lives to God Almighty, who is in charge of everything, and also our lives. This actually takes off some pressure from our side, that we have the living God living in us, which means He guides us, He helps us, He gives us an advantage in life- favour! With this, doors that you didn't even knock in, will come looking for you, people will favour you because the Lord has placed it in their hearts to do so. It is not your efforts but it is the favour of God! Also, for the fact that you didn't even deserve this, but God is doing it because He loves you. It is His grace and mercy over your life. 

Therefore, all we can do to respond to this, is just to accept Him to take charge and lead the way. Psalm 119:105 tells us that His word is the lamp to our feet; which means whereever you go, the Lord lights up your path, you will never walk in the dark, because of His presence. It is heartwarming and something we should be grateful for. However, this doesn't mean we'll be immune to the challenges of this world, but it gives us comfort that whatever challenge we may face, we are not alone, He is there with us and for us (Romans 8:31). Rejoice for the Most High loves and cares for you, forget what other people think of you, what matters is what the Lord says about you!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. However, God understands that we are not perfect (and we should never pressurize ourselves to be perfect), but with the guidance we have, we know that where we fall short, we can run to the Lord without guilt or shame, knowing that He is our Father who loves us and is willing to help us every step of t

Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
