Do not be afraid!

 Psalm 56:3

But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in You.

We have a Father that is dependable, gracious and all so powerful! We can truly trust Him with our lives. The bible tells us that we must not be afraid, when faced with trials and tribulations in life, which are certain that in one way or the other, we will face. However, that does not mean that we must be afraid and discouraged because the Lord is with us (Romans 8:31). All we need to do, is put our trust in Him. This is a form of surrender, that we may not know it all, but He does and we allow Him to take control of the situation. Philippians 4:6-7 says: "do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." In this case, instead of worrying about your situation, take it to the Lord in prayer, make your requests known to Him and also don't forget to show gratitude for who He is and what He will do for you. This will put your mind at ease, as His peace flood your life in the midst of your storm, whilst God is taking care of your situation.

As of this moment, I surrender my worries to the Lord, He is a loving and a kind Father, who wants to help. May I also urge you to do the same, no matter what you may be facing, big or small, take it to Him in prayer and receive His peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that He is in charge! It will make a big difference; before you know it, all your problems would've been resolved by His power. Trust Him!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
