The Lord never stay angry at His children...

 Micah 7:18

Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of His special people? You will not stay angry with Your people forever, because You delight in showing unfailing love.

How awesome is our God! God loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for our sins, as a way to reconcile with His people. He indeed overlooks our sins because of the blood of Jesus; we are now His righteousness through Christ. The fact that we can find ourselves at fault, it is such a relief to remember that He is not angry at us forever, but when we ask for forgiveness He is ready to forgive us. That is an act of unconditional love!

It is so important how we see God, as a Father that is loving, merciful and kind; in such a way that when we have done something wrong, we don't beat ourselves up and run away from Him thinking that He is angry at us, but to find ourselves going back to Him to find forgiveness and strength to not sin no more. That makes a difference. Therefore, may this verse settle it for you that the Lord does not stay angry with you, He is quick to forgive; we just need to repent. The purpose of Jesus going to the cross, has settled it.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
