Make known of what He has done for you

 1 Chronicles 16:8-12

Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,

A grateful heart is always pleasing to the Lord. Show gratitude by remembering the good that the Lord has done for you, big and small. Don't take the glory for yourself, if it's within your power to do so, acknowledge His goodness, tell the nations of His works in your life. We are told not to focus on the past but to look to the future; the only exception is when you look back to see how far you have come. Recognizing the blessings and remembering that if He was able to do it for you then, He will certainly do it for you again.

In the midst of turbulence, the bible is encouraging us to look to the Lord, not within us, not around us (as we may be even more discouraged), but to look to the One who has the power to turn things around, the One who loves unconditionally. Seek His face and you will find strength.
