Confess it with your mouth...

Romans 10:9

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

This is the cornerstone of our faith as Christians, that God sent His Son for us to have life after eternity. One of the most popular verses found in John 3:16 says: "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." In as much as God gave up His Son for all humanity, only those that receive the gift, those that acknowledge and come in agreement with the Lord, will be saved. This means, unless you confess it with your mouth, that Jesus is Lord and He came to save our lives, life in eternity is not secured yet. The gift has not been received yet.

God doesn't force Himself on us, He gave us free will; the options. In Deuteronomy 30:19, God gave us an option, to choose life or death, blessings or curses. By choosing Jesus and confessing that He is Lord our Saviour, you are saved, by this you access the blessing of life after death. This is the main intention for God, to have His children saved. 

Therefore, if you have never in your life, had an opportunity to give your life to Christ by confessing this, I pray God give you the grace for you to the realization of the gift you have. That you will see the love of God through this act and surrender your life to Christ. All you need to do, is confess it. God is there and He can see and hear it all. May this Easter weekend be a blessing to you, where you get to realize the greatest gift we've been given, that Christ died for us, so we may have life. May this resurrection celebration, be the beginning of great things for you, where your life will be resurrected with Christ from the dead, in Jesus name!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
