Do good to everyone, especially the family of faith

 Galatians 6:10

Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.

There are a couple of bible verses that urges us to do good, to those in need. This bible verse furthers tells us that we should do good, especially to those in the family of Christ. I think that is important. Fair enough that we are all God's creation, He loves us all. It is right to do good to all His people. However, it is even better that we do good to those in the family of faith. This is linked to sowing in good soil and sowing in bad, rocky soil. Sowing in people that are not part of the family of faith, may for example find use of your seed in something destructive. Fr example, someone who is an alcoholic, when you give them money (as an example) there is a good chance that the money will be spent towards the addiction. Yes they may have their own reasons why they do that and why they are in that state (not our place to judge). Compare that with someone who is in the family of faith. Their spend maybe be different, remembering that God answered their prayers through you. There's a good chance that they may wish you well as a result of your act.

Thus, follow the leading of the Spirit. By just looking at someone, you might not know which is which, but God knows people's needs and challenges and if we pay attention to His voice and guiding, we will make the right impact.

It is that time of the year where we remember the birth of our Lord, as the three wise men did, in being generous and gifting Christ, we feel the same spirit and want to reach out and do good to others. Also ask the Lord to show you who needs you and your helping hand. Ask Him to show you and put it in your spirit about that. God will make your paths straight.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
