Your sins are wiped away

 Acts 3:19

Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.

The greatest gift from God, was Jesus who was sacrificed to cleanse our sins. Thus, we are receiving this invitation from God, to turn away from our sins and repent; ask for forgiveness and walk away from that which is not pleasing to God. God promises to cleanse us and wipe away the sins. This ensures that we are in good standing with God and that we let loose of the hold that the devil may have over us, as a result of a particular sin. If the sin is hidden and not acknowledged, the devil will use it to condemn us, make us feel guilty and unworthy of the love of God. His plan is always to pull us away from our loving Father. But we need to resist and come against that, as the sacrifice has already been given, our sins cleansed. We just need to acknowledge and repent from our wrongs so that we may be free.

Receive the gift of freedom and remain in obedience to Christ. Never live a life full of shame of the past, we have a forgiving Father who has open arms and is always ready to receive and cleanse us. Just like in the bible, the woman who was caught in adultery, no one could condemn her after what Jesus said. What was powerful however is the words He spoke to her in John 8:11 that said “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.” Jesus is interested in us learning a lesson out of our mistake and not doing it again..
