Let us give thanks to the Lord, always...

 Psalm 100:4

Enter His gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name.

A heart filled with gratitude is like a sweet-smelling aroma of sacrifice to the Lord! We ought to always have gratitude towards Him, in our hearts. Not only for the things we can see with our own eyes, but also the ones that we don't. For one, He protects us from a lot of things in the spirit, that the kingdom of darkness is sending our way. But He is able to block them for our sake. We need to give thanks for the life He gave us. It is no coincidence or our own doing that we are still living and breathing, but it is by His grace. We need to appreciate that. Also, there are so many things that we go through in life, that we don't even understand, where the revelation will come much later, because God is a Strategist. All these, as part of His plans that are good for us (Jeremiah 29:11). We still need to give thanks for that! He works everything to work in our favour.

At present, I'm having moments where God is piecing everything together for me, to help me understand why I went through what I did. Wow, it is amazing and quite humbling. Whilst I was in those moments, it didn't make sense at all, but now that He is bringing it all together to make sense, I take my hat off for Him, for who He is and how much of an Orchestrator He is. I kept hearing that we must not demonize the process that we go through, because whatever negative situation we may face, it is not us or our fault, but what we go through it is preparation and to equip us to be able to relate to those He is sending us to.

Which is why, we need to give praise to Him, whether things are going good or bad, all we need to remember is that He is working everything out, to work for our good (Romans 8:28).
