The Lord is a great Orchestrator!

 Exodus 23:29-30

But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals would multiply and threaten you. I will drive them out a little at a time until your population has increased enough to take possession of the land.

These were the words from God as He was about to give the Israelites their promised land. In this passage, we see how considerate and strategic God is, where the plan is well-thought through, not to disadvantage the people that are benefitting, by overwhelming them with the blessing that may in turn become a burden. This stands true for us as well, in our daily lives and our needs. God plans everything out, and then execute. In our eyes, it may seem like delay, unanswered prayer, only to realize that God is orchestrating things for our good. Which is why we are urged to ask in His name and believe that He has heard us. This translates to us giving God a chance to work things out. In our waiting period, it is important that we remain with a heart posture of gratitude and praise, having confidence that it is done, that He will make a way for us, it just being a matter of time; which then leads to giving praise for what He is about to do.

To others it may seem odd, that you are already celebrating and giving praise, when you haven't received what you asked for, but we need to remember that we don't walk by sight, but by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7)! That pleases God, as He sees that you have full confidence in Him and His power, no matter the situation. That's what you should focus on, forget what people say and hold on to His word. You will enter your promised land, when the time is right! Believe it!
